The Blue Funk God is the benevolent overseer of all things Benjernie. During the Benjernie Era, His gospel was restored and the powers of Blue Funk were once again exercised for the edification of mankind.

Blue Funk is the plasmatic substance through which all benjernial powers and ideas are transmitted. It flows through all of us (see The Force), guiding and edifying those who would seek its wisdom. It comes in a little plastic tub and was discontinued in The 80's.

Not unlike Pete's Dragon, the Blue Funk God seeks out those upon whom he would deign to bestow his glory for a time, and then characteristically moves on to another who is in need. In 2001, He revealed a modern volume of scripture, which sagaciously hearkens back largely to His former wisdom. Currently, His glory resides with this musical endeavor, through which a Latter-Day volume of scripture may be revealed.
